Training

Welcome to PROFESSIONAL TRAINERS INSTITUTE

Our courses are practical and hands-on, with opportunities to test your skills and the  majority of our in-house training is tailored specifically to client requirements. Pre-registration information may be requested by P T I to help tutors to make the day relevant to delegates’ jobs and training requirements.

 

PTI  works across Jamaica, and offers courses for organisations, giving them:

  • Top-quality training

  • A wide range of subjects

  • Reasonable prices

 

Most of our courses cover seven or fourteen hours, beginning with registration at 9.00a.m and finishing at 4.00pm.
Coffee break and lunch are usually included. 
Places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We urge you to register for a course as soon as possible. If a course is full, you may be placed on a waiting list. You will be notified if cancellations occur and space becomes available.

Due to the impact of Covid 19 and to maintain social distancing, only online training is being conducted at this time. As soon as we resume regular face-to-face workshops, we will advise you. In the mean time, take at look at our upcoming webinars.

Note that post Covid we will be continuing with webinars to offer flexible training options. 
 

Event and Training Terms and Conditions

 

Registration

 

Registration must be made online through our website. Once we have received your registration form, we will contact you to confirm and a proforma invoice will be sent to you if you are company sponsored or an invoice if the registrant is self-sponsored. Note that a space is guaranteed only with submission of a purchase order or a 50% deposit for self-sponsored individuals. Persons will not be allowed to participate without a valid purchase order or payment made in full.  

Payment 

For local participants, you can pay by cheque or via bank to bank transfer.  We prefer not to accept cash payment unless the circumstances are unavoidable.  Once you have registered online for a course, we will send you a proforma invoice for companies using a purchase order or an invoice for persons or companies making a payment prior to course attendance. Please note that payment must be made in full at least two days in advance of the course/event or a valid purchase order provided where applicable. Cheques should be made payable to Hamilton’s College of Professional Training Limited.

Banking details for bank to bank transfer will be provided on request.

For overseas participants (online training courses), payment can be made via, bank transfer, Western Union. Money Gram or Xoom.

Note that a valid purchase order is the official document to secure a space. A 50% deposit can be made to secure a space but the full payment must be made on the first day of the course. Note that this deposit is not refundable unless the course has been cancelled or postponed.  For postponement, PTI will not automatically refund unless a request is made for same.

 

Class Size

PTI reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course if is under-subscribed, . In that case, we shall notify you at least 2 days before the course date and arrange for you to attend on another date. Additional dates will be arranged if the courses are oversubscribed. 

 

Refunds

If a delegate decides to postpone their attendance to a later date at short notice, there will be an administration charge to cover costs already incurred.

 

Change of Delegate

If the named delegate cannot attend, the booking can be transferred to another person at no additional cost. Please let us know their name, before the course, by calling (876) 969-3402 or (876) 755-2602 and confirm by email.
