About Us
Professional Trainers Institute (PTI), established November 1998, originated from the former Manpower Development of JAMPRO after the restructuring of the agency. The institution officially began operations at the Waterloo Road office of JAMPRO, and later re-established as a fully private entity located at 17 Tangerine Place, Kingston 10. Today PTI is operating at 9 Cecelio Avenue, Kingston 10.
In July 2007, Hamilton’s College of Professional Training Limited was formed as the parent company of PTI. However, the management of the company decided to retain Professional Trainers Institute as the trading name since clients were already very familiar with the name.

PTI is now a growing dynamic institution, consisting of a CEO, administrative and adjunct staff. The adjunct staff consists of consultants and trainers who conduct the various training and educational classes.
The institute is now an independent body, offering a wide range of short courses that are based on the needs of the Jamaican labour force. Course participants are drawn from various organizations and industries in Jamaica. The major areas of training are set out below:

Other special courses are offered, including Office Administration and Secretarial Science. The institution mainly offers short courses ranging from one day to twelve weeks. PTI also offers in-house/on-site training where we conduct the training at the location of your choice.
